About the UAV Patch Collection
The war in Ukraine has rewritten the history of modern warfare. We have traversed a path from infantry assaults and full-scale high-intensity conflict to a grueling war of attrition. We have been fighting in this hell since 2014. While 2022 was defined by maneuver warfare, 2023 marked the beginning of a new era — the era of drones, advanced technology, and strikes beyond the horizon. War has evolved, and now Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) play the decisive role.
This collection was designed by Oleksandr Vorobey, the founder of Blade Brothers Knives. He has experienced every face of this war: from the 2014 assaults in Pisky, where he was severely wounded, to the 2022 street battles for his native Kharkiv and the subsequent counter-offensives to liberate the Kharkiv region. Today, he serves within the Unmanned Systems Forces of the AFU. This collection is a tribute to the various types of UAVs that define the modern battlefield.
"Aerial Reconnaissance: I Bring the Light"
The Valkyrie in the sky, with her sword raised high, brings the light—a symbol of precision and inevitability. A flash nearby drags the target out of the darkness. She finds and illuminates that which is destined for destruction.
The "Valkyrie" UAV is a scout drone equipped with high-end optics. In the hands of experienced operators, it peers deep and far. Where others see only the fog of war, aerial reconnaissance provides precise coordinates for the strike.
