The STORMTROOPER Stonewash by Blade Brothers Knives is a top-choice military-grade tactical knife. Ukrainian soldiers trust it in active combat. Inspired by the classic trench knife, we designed it for today’s battlefield—durable, versatile, and ready for anything in the harshest conditions.
The updated stonewash finish adds more than just a tactical edge: it reduces glare, resists wear, and simplifies maintenance. When the mission demands a dependable, versatile, and battle-ready tool, the STORMTROOPER delivers.
From WWI Trenches to the Modern Front
The STORMTROOPER carries a legacy that began in the trenches of WWI and continues on the battlefields of today. Drawing inspiration from the dependable German trench knives, Blade Brothers Knives engineered a universal tool for modern positional warfare.
Since 2018, Ukrainian soldiers have relied on the STORMTROOPER in every kind of combat scenario. For example, they use it to prep meals, set up defensive positions, open ammo crates, solve tactical challenges, and defend themselves in close quarters. That’s why the STORMTROOPER stands as the top choice among Ukrainian tactical knives.

The Versatility of the STORMTROOPER's Tactical Blade
Built for Fight. Engineered for the Battlefield.
The STORMTROOPER Stonewash uses a full-tang, fixed-blade construction that gives it solid, uninterrupted strength from tip to pommel. No joints. No weak spots. Just a tool that handles force without flinching.
Proven Alloy. Reliable Edge.
We produce the blade from 5 mm thick 1.4116 stainless steel and hardened to 57 HRC. Moreover, this alloy (X50CrMoV15) resists rust, holds its edge through heavy use, and sharpens quickly—even with basic gear in the field.
Stonewash Finish.
Beyond its tactical appearance, the stonewash finish serves a practical purpose. It masks wear, reduces shine, and adds another layer of protection against corrosion. The blade stays low-profile and ready—no matter the conditions.
A Wider Blade for More Versatility.
Unlike traditional trench knives, the STORMTROOPER features a broader blade that expands its range of uses. Whether you’re slicing, cutting, or handling everyday field tasks, this design upgrade makes it better suited for the demands of modern combat.
Serious Penetration and Cutting Power.
The classic dagger profile, combined with wide bevels and a sharpened false edge, delivers impressive piercing capability during thrusts and strikes. The broad bevels also enhance cutting performance, allowing the blade to glide through tough materials—including today’s high-tech gear.
Thick Spine Built for Batoning.
The reinforced spine near the handle is tough enough for batoning—splitting wood using another stick. Whether you’re building shelter or preparing a fire, this survival feature is crucial when working in the field.
Built for the Field: Grip, Guard & Carry
Every detail of the STORMTROOPER is engineered for comfort, control, and reliability in the toughest environments.
Secure, Comfortable Grip The textured ABS handle scales deliver a firm, slip-resistant hold — even with gloves on or in wet conditions. Moreover, a built-in lanyard hole gives you extra flexibility for carry and retention.
Low-Profile Guard, High-Level Protection
The redesigned guard is more compact than on traditional combat knives — small enough to meet civilian-use standards. What's more, it still large enough to keep your hand from slipping during heavy-duty tasks. It’s a thoughtful balance between function and compliance.
Rugged Nylon Sheath for All-Terrain Carry
The sheath is made from durable nylon and keeps the knife locked in and ready for action. It comes equipped with a belt loop and MOLLE-compatible straps. So you can mount it wherever it works best — on your belt, vest, or pack — for fast access when every second counts.
The STORMTROOPER isn’t just a knife — it’s a mission-ready weapon built for real-world use, whether you're in the field, on patrol, or off the grid.
It is a time-tested, combat-hardened, multi-functional tool that will prove indispensable in both combat zones and civilian life.
Full tang fixed blade knife
The solid metal construction of the knife with a fixed blade provides strength and power. The knife is made of 1.4116 stainless steel with a thickness of 5 mm, which is hardened to 57 HRC. With such characteristics of the steel, the cutting edge of the knife stays sharp for a long time, and it can be sharpened by hand without the use of a special tool. The knife can withstand heavy use in extreme environments.
Wide blade
Unlike the classic trench knife, we designed the STORMTROOPER with a wider blade to give it additional versatility. We clearly understand that in modern warfare, there are more cutting tasks than there were during the First World War.
Wide bevels
These wide bevels on the blade amplify the surface area in contact with the material, while the razor-sharp edge significantly reduces the resistance. These wide bevels ensure exceptional cutting performance and minimize the effort needed to navigate through the material.
Dagger blade shape
The blade of the dagger shape features an unsharpened edge at the tip. While preserving the classic trench knife form, we integrated a beveled false edge. The knife excels in its ability to penetrate upon striking and stabbing. It can penetrate modern equipment, which makes it a reliable weapon in critical situations.
Thick spine
The STORMTROOPER knife has a thick spine in the part from the handle, which allows it to be used for batoning. Batoning is a technique for using a knife to chop wood, which involves striking the knife against wood with another stick. The thick spine of the STORMTROOPER knife provides a larger contact area with the wood, making it easier to chop wood.
Reduced guard
The trench knife from the First World War was designed for use in close combat and had a guard that protected the hand from the blade. However, in the modern world, a knife with a guard is considered a cold weapon and may be prohibited from being freely carried in the city. Therefore, we modified the guard of the STORMTROOPER knife so that the knife is not considered a cold weapon and can be carried and used in urban conditions. The reduced guard is not as large as that of historical trench knives, but with a forceful stab, such a guard will not allow the hand to move towards the blade.
Comfortable handle
Textured ABS plastic scales prevent slipping, and the knife is comfortable to use even with gloves. The scales are attached with screws that can be tightened yourself if necessary. There is a hole for a lanyard on the handle.
Reliable sheath
The sheath is made of durable nylon, it provides a reliable fixation and retention of the knife. Equipped with a loop for convenient attachment to a belt or equipment, as well as a MOLLE system. This sheath provides easy access to the knife and allows you to carry it safely during hiking or combat operations.
