For over a decade, the HIRDMAN tactical knife has ranked among Blade Brothers Knives’ top-3 bestsellers. Special operations veterans, armed forces personnel, and extreme outdoor enthusiasts choose it for uncompromising quality and field-tested performance. Now we add a stonewash finish to this legendary blade.
The HIRDMAN Stonewash is a versatile tactical fixed knife designed by Blade Brothers Knives for mission-critical tasks. Its creation draws on the legendary WWII-era NR-40 army knife and the time-tested Finnish puukko. Moreover, this tool embodies the strength and reliability of the medieval Scandinavian Hirdmen — fearless warriors who never retreated.
Every detail of the HIRDMAN Stonewash highlights its readiness for any challenge. It is an indispensable knife for military personnel and tactical specialists who operate in dynamic, often dangerous environments where reliable gear is crucial. Furthermore, for them, a knife is not only a tool but a vital piece of equipment. Beyond its tactical use, the HIRDMAN also makes an ideal tool for hiking and camping.
Construction and Materials
Blade steel
Forged for the field, the HIRDMAN Stonewash features a 5 mm thick blade made from 1.4116 stainless steel, hardened to 57 HRC. This steel strikes the perfect balance—tough enough to take a beating, resilient enough to flex under pressure, and sharp enough to slice clean through when it counts.
Full-tang Fixed Blade
Its full-tang construction means zero weak points. Whether you're prying, batoning, or pushing through dense material, the HIRDMAN holds firm. Unlike folding knives, there’s no hinge to fail, no lock to jam—just solid steel from tip to pommel. That’s why professionals trust fixed blades when lives depend on gear that won’t quit.
Stonewash finish
The stonewash finish isn’t just for looks—it kills glare, hides wear, and keeps your blade discreet in low-light or tactical environments.
Sharpen it with basic tools and restore a razor edge anywhere your mission takes you.
Functionality in Action
Versatile Application
This knife is designed for a wide range of tasks — from opening cans and preparing food to cutting straps, chopping branches, and other field work. We have received reports of it being used to create depressions in the ground for cover during shelling.
Unique Blade
Hollow grinds deliver surgical control on fine cuts. The drop-point profile drives fast, deep thrusts through dense materials, while the reinforced tip stands up to piercing tasks without fail.
Reliable Handle
Textured ABS scales lock the grip in wet or muddy conditions. Removable screws let you tighten or replace scales in the field. In addition the integrated lanyard hole adds carry options.
Tactical Sheath
A rugged polymer sheath secures the knife yet releases instantly. MOLLE and TEK-LOK compatibility ensure seamless integration with any tactical rig.
HIRDMAN Stonewash: Built to Earn Your Trust

Own the knife that’s earned its place in the hands of those who never settle.
Full tang fixed blade
The solid metal construction of the knife with a fixed blade provides strength and power. The knife is made of 1.4116 stainless steel with a thickness of 5 mm, which is hardened to 57 HRC. With such characteristics of the steel, the cutting edge of the knife stays sharp for a long time, and it can be sharpened by hand without the use of a special tool.
Concave bevels
The concave bevels, which are responsible for the superior cut, and the straight cutting edge make the knife effective and convenient for both household tasks and dynamic cutting. The knife is ideal for situations where very fine and precise control is required when performing a delicate cut.
Drop point
The drop point blade provides quick, and therefore deep penetration into the material when stabbing, the knife easily pierces even a thick layer of cardboard. This can be an advantage in an extreme situation.
Versalite blade shape
The knife has a drop point, but it remains strong and is generally better suited for stabbing and cutting tasks.
Comfortable handle
The shape of the knife handle was specially designed for ease of holding in the hand of any size and with any grip, including the hammer and main grips of Ukrainian knife fighting. Textured ABS plastic scales prevent slipping, and the knife is comfortable to use even with gloves. The scales are attached with screws that can be tightened yourself if necessary. There is a hole for a lanyard on the handle.
Reliable Sheath
The well-fitting plastic sheath securely holds and retains the blade. The sheath has a removable steel clip compatible with the MOLLE system, which allows you to carry the knife in any convenient position. The holes in the sheath are compatible with TEK LOK. In an emergency, the knife is quickly removed – it is always ready for action.
