Forged from 5 mm thick 1.4116 stainless steel (57 HRC), the blade delivers excellent performance. The full tang fixed blade design ensures unwavering reliability during use. The durable ABS plastic handle provides a comfortable and secure grip in any conditions. The knife comes complete with a plastic sheath featuring a MOLLE-compatible steel clip. Furthermore, the sheath's holes are compatible with TEK LOK.

History of the Knife

The SAKURA tanto knife from Blade Brothers Knives embodies elegance, power, and efficiency. Moreover, the tanto blade is renowned for its striking shape and exceptional performance, qualities that excel in the most extreme combat scenarios.

We developed our SAKURA tactical knife by drawing on the ancient Japanese traditions of the short sword—the tanto—which was famously carried by the samurai. Thus, this blade type is exceptionally versatile, proving effective for close-quarters combat and delivering precise strikes with deep piercing power.

Full tang fixed blade
The solid metal construction of the knife with a fixed blade provides strength and power. The knife is made of 1.4116 stainless steel with a thickness of 5 mm, which is hardened to 57 HRC. With such characteristics of the steel, the cutting edge of the knife stays sharp for a long time, and it can be sharpened by hand without the use of a special tool.
Aggressive concave bevels
The aggressive concave bevels of the SAKURA knife guarantees devastating damage to the enemy in a dynamic cut. The knife easily enters the surface it touches without the need to apply additional effort. The chopping strike of the SAKURA is characterized by power and efficiency.
Stiffness rib
The stiffness rib shifted close to the spine of the blade. The SAKURA tactical tanto knife is capable of delivering aggressive cutting, strong stabbing, and powerful chopping strikes. For strength, we added a stiffness rib shifted close to the spine of the blade. This solution allows the SAKURA tactical knife to withstand heavy loads and have excellent penetrating properties.
Maneuverability of the classic tanto
The SAKURA knife has the same dimensions as the tanto knives of medieval Japan. This allows it to be maneuverable and easy to use even in limited spaces.
Special Handle
The SAKURA handle has an unusual shape – it extends towards the blade. This shape of the handle provides a reliable grip and automatically stops the movement of the hand towards the blade. Textured ABS plastic scales prevent slippage, making the knife easy to use even with gloves. The scales are attached with screws that can be tightened yourself if necessary. There is a hole for a lanyard on the knife handle.
Reliable Sheath
The well-fitting plastic sheath securely holds and retains the blade. The sheath has a removable steel clip compatible with the MOLLE system, which allows you to carry the knife in any convenient position. The holes in the sheath are compatible with TEK LOK. In an emergency, the knife is quickly removed – it is always ready for action.
