SAKURA Premium tanto

The SAKURA Premium Knife is our modern take on the classic tactical tanto. We designed this knife to deliver aggressive slashes, deep thrusts, and heavy-duty chopping power. As a result, it combines refined aesthetics with real-world tactical efficiency.

We craft the blade from premium Böhler N690 stainless steel (4.5 mm thick) and harden it to 59–60 HRC. It handles harsh environments with ease plus, it stays sharp longe. In addition, Richlite handle scales offer a firm, confident grip in any condition. Also, the custom polymer sheath features a steel clip compatible with MOLLE and TEK LOK systems.

The SAKURA Premium from Blade Brothers Knives draws directly from traditional Japanese samurai short swords. Thus, we preserved centuries of proven combat heritage in a modern tactical tool.

The classic tanto blade features a diamond cross-section along with a reinforced spine. Thanks to this design the blade withstands extreme loads and delivers maximum piercing power. You get unmatched structural strength in a light, maneuverable format.

The handle broadens toward the base to create a solid, natural stop. This prevents your hand from slipping onto the edge during heavy thrusts.

Finally, we matched the exact proportions of medieval Japanese knives to keep the SAKURA Premium fast and agile. You maintain total maneuverability, even in tight spaces. Above all, it is a powerful, versatile knife ready for self-defense, duty, or tough tactical work.

• Full tang fixed blade
  The solid metal construction of the knife with a fixed blade provides strength and power. The knife is made of N690 stainless steel with a thickness of 4.5 mm, which is hardened to 59-60 HRC. With such characteristics of the steel, the cutting edge of the knife stays sharp for a long time.
• Aggressive concave bevels
  The aggressive concave bevels of the SAKURA knife guarantees devastating damage to the enemy in a dynamic cut. The knife easily enters the surface it touches without the need to apply additional effort. The chopping strike of the SAKURA is characterized by power and efficiency.
• Stiffness rib
  The stiffness rib shifted close to the spine of the blade. The SAKURA tactical tanto knife is capable of delivering aggressive cutting, strong stabbing, and powerful chopping strikes. For strength, we added a stiffness rib shifted close to the spine of the blade. This solution allows the SAKURA tactical knife to withstand heavy loads and have excellent penetrating properties.
• Maneuverability of the classic tanto
  The SAKURA knife has the same dimensions as the tanto knives of medieval Japan. This allows it to be maneuverable and easy to use even in limited spaces.
• Special Handle
  The SAKURA handle has an unusual shape – it extends towards the blade. This shape of the handle provides a reliable grip and automatically stops the movement of the hand towards the blade. Textured ABS plastic scales prevent slippage, making the knife easy to use even with gloves. The scales are attached with screws that can be tightened yourself if necessary. There is a hole for a lanyard on the knife handle.
• Reliable Sheath
  The well-fitting plastic sheath securely holds and retains the blade. The sheath has a removable steel clip compatible with the MOLLE system, which allows you to carry the knife in any convenient position. The holes in the sheath are compatible with TEK LOK. In an emergency, the knife is quickly removed – it is always ready for action.
