History of the Knife

EDC knife IRA DOMINI (lat. Wrath of God) is the very first model by Blade Brothers Knives. In training the knife fighters required a knife whose shape and design would realize all the features of the Blade Brothers club fighting technique. This technique characterized by specific powerful slashing strokes. We took inspiration from the ancient Greek mahira and Celtic battle ax. The knife IRA DOMINI combines the best of both worlds.

During tests, the knife made such large cuts that it was given the name “Wrath of God”.

  This feature ensures strength and durability. The knife is made of stainless steel 1.4116 with a thickness of 5 mm, hardened to 57 HRC. Thanks to these steel characteristics, the knife’s cutting edge maintains sharpness for an extended period, and it can be easily sharpened without requiring any special tools.

  Such kinds of bevels significantly increase the contact area with the material being cut, while the sharp cutting edge reduces resistance. This combination ensures exceptional cutting ability, making it effortless to move the knife through various materials.
• Special cutting edge
  The cutting edge which extends beyond the handle line concentrates the force of each strike, delivering enhanced impact with every blow. As the knife penetrates the material, its cutting force far exceeds the applied effort, resulting in unparalleled cutting performance. And the curved line of the cutting edge increases the length of the cut.
• Сomfortable handle
  The textured ABS plastic handle scales provide a secure grip, ensuring comfortable use even when wearing gloves. The scales are durably attached with screws that can be adjusted as needed. The knife handle also features a lanyard hole for added convenience.
• Secure sheath
  The well-fitted plastic sheath securely holds and retains the blade. The sheath is equipped with a removable steel clip compatible with the MOLLE system, allowing the knife to be carried in any convenient position. The sheath’s holes are compatible with TEK LOK. In emergency situations, the knife can be quickly drawn from the sheath, it is always ready for action.
