The SGIAN DUBH Stonewash is an EDC fixed-blade knife from Blade Brothers Knives — it's a modern-day answer to personal safety. We designed it for concealed carry and instant access. Its blade traces its lineage back to the traditional Scottish combat knife, the Sgian Dubh. In the 17th century, this knife was a last resort — your final argument when other weapons were lost. The Scots carried this knife under the arm, in a boot, or in the folds of clothing — always near, always ready.
Today’s SGIAN DUBH Stonewash from Blade Brothers Knives is tailored for urban realities. Whether you're walking city streets or navigating uncertain situations, it offers discreet protection without compromise. Field-tested by Ukrainian Armed forces, it stands ready for those who demand reliability—and who understand that self-defense starts with readiness.

Thank you for the photo!
The SGIAN DUBH Stonewash urban self-defense blade is made from 5 mm thick 1.4116 stainless steel, hardened to 57 HRC. Also this steel strikes the perfect balance, combining exceptional corrosion resistance with excellent cutting properties. Whether you're on duty or off-grid, the edge stays sharp—and can be restored with basic tools, wherever you are.
The 5-mm thickness and a full-tang blade guarantee absolute strength even under extreme loads. A dagger-like tip provides flawless penetrating ability. This blade can pierce through multiple layers of Kevlar. For urban self-defense, this blade is more than capable.

Thus flat bevels from the spine enhance its cutting effect, allowing for clean, fast slices. The knife easily handles everyday tasks, minor repairs, and situations that demand a lightning-fast reaction.
The matte Stonewash finish gives the knife a discreet, tactical look. This finish creates a unique pattern on the blade that hides signs of use. It's the ideal option for those who use their knife every day—in the city, in the field, or on duty. No special care required: just clean and dry, and it’s ready to go.

Handle: Control and Comfort.
In a self-defense scenario, grip matters. The unique shape of the handle prevents your hand from slipping toward the blade. Meanwhile textured ABS plastic scales ensure a reliable grip, even in wet conditions. Also a lanyard hole adds options for additional security or personalization. Moreover, the SGIAN DUBH EDC knife feels secure in your hand and won't twist or slip, even during intense use. A balanced handle design allows for comfortable, single-handed operation without fatigue.

Sheath: Discreet and Ready.
The included plastic sheath securely locks the knife in place while providing instant access. Also the sheath features a removable steel clip with MOLLE and Tek-Lok compatibility. So you can easily attach the knife to your belt, tactical vest, or backpack and carry it vertically, horizontally, or at an angle to fit your specific needs. Whether you're operating in the field or navigating urban terrain, the SGIAN DUBH Stonewash EDC knife stays concealed, accessible, and under your full control.
