Briefly about the CHIBI Knife

The CHIBI knife is an everyday carry knife featuring an American tanto blade shape. This versatile knife has a modified tip for increased piercing ability and a glass breaker on the handle. It is made of stainless steel 1.4116, with a thickness of 5 mm and a hardness of 57 HRC, providing excellent cutting performance. The fixed blade design with a full tang construction ensures reliability during use. The handle features durable ABS plastic, providing a comfortable and secure grip in any conditions. We designed this knife for concealed carry. It can be quickly removed from the plastic sheath featured with a steel clip compatible with MOLLE. The sheath's holes are compatible with TEK LOK.

History of the Knife

The knife CHIBI, meaning "small" in Japanese, is an everyday carry knife that incorporates the American tanto blade style. We have combined the best features of our tactical knife YAMATO, to create a versatile tool that excels in both everyday tasks and high-pressure situations. In this particular model, we have made slight modifications to the tip to enhance its piercing abilities, and we've also included a glass breaker at the handle's end.

As a result we designed a compact knife with exceptional cutting performance. Ideal for various tasks, particularly in self-defense scenarios.

• The full tang construction with fixed blade
  The full tang construction with fixed blade ensures strength and power. The knife is made of stainless steel 1.4116 with a thickness of 5 mm, hardened to 57 HRC. Thanks to these steel characteristics, the knife’s cutting edge maintains sharpness for an extended period, and it can be easily sharpened without requiring any special tools.
• Special blade shape
  The CHIBI knife has a dropped point. The dropped point enhances the piercing properties when stabbing, the knife easily pierces even a thick layer of cardboard.
• American Tanto blade type
  The knife has two cutting edges that are joined at a certain angle in the area of the point. This feature of the blade provides exceptional strength. The knife can cut through a thick layer of cardboard.
  The angle formed by the boundary of the two cutting edges acts as a pressure concentrator, which increases the cutting properties of the knife when striking. The knife penetrates the material without effort, ensuring a clean cut.
  Efficient knife for the inexperienced
  The CHIBI knife is characterized by its high efficiency in delivering cutting and stabbing blows by a person who has no experience and skills in knife fighting. Therefore, this knife is ideal for women for self-defense in the street.
• Comfortable handle
  The handle shape provides a secure grip and maximizes contact area with the hand, requiring minimal effort to manipulate the knife. Textured ABS plastic scales prevent slippage, allowing for comfortable use of the knife even while wearing gloves. The scales are fastened with screws that can be tightened as needed. The knife handle features a lanyard hole.
• Glass Breaker
  The pointed part at the end of the knife handle is designed for striking and breaking glass. In emergency situations, the knife can easily cut the seat belts and break the window glass.
• Secure sheath
  The well-fitted plastic sheath securely holds and retains the blade. The sheath is equipped with a removable steel clip compatible with the MOLLE system, allowing the knife to be carried in any convenient position. The sheath’s holes are compatible with TEK LOK. In emergency situations, the knife can be quickly drawn from the sheath, it is always ready for action.
